Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany

It was my 2nd time to visit this glorious castle, the first time was during wintertime of 2006. The place looked different on wintertime, better, for me. The surrounding alps gave the scenery much more drama. But nevertheless, the castle still looks amazing during summer....

the only transport system going to the castle

the best way to view the castle is thru Marian bridge

He paints so well...Business is good with the Asians hehehe

Marian bridge

This is where disneyland patterned its castle

Füssen old town

too bad part of it is under restoration

it is located on top of a hill

Lakes

Aside from forests, I'm also fascinated with lakes....So I was so delighted to have visited several lakes during this trip.
Saw this hut on our way to the lake

Beautiful..isn't it?

Father and daughter bonding

I forgot the name of this lake...this is located at Kempten, Allgäu

Alpsee

Hubby will not let this pass

so off we go boating!

Ice cream before exploring the lake

Forgensee - believe it or not but during winter this lake does not exist. The water from this lake comes from the Alps.

Perfect setting for our bubble activity

This was our view on our way to Rottachsee

Now I know why hubby was so keen on going here!!!

Swimming is allowed!!!!
Picnic is allowed too...love it!

Breitachklamm, Allgäu Germany

We're not yet finished with our nature tripping in this of side of Germany....

I really didn't expect this place to be this beautiful ... it is BREATHTAKING!

Alps during summer

Where the adventure begins

I'm not so ready for trekking

After a while I was already asking myself if this was it....

Then we reached this part....

Beautiful rock formation

My slippers survived the trekking lol!

Imagine this during autumn time...all orange and yellow trees...Beautiful!!!

Ramla Bay Hotel, Malta

Everything that we we're looking for .....  has a private beach, far from the city (not for the young ones, i guess),  has an indoor pool, outdoor pool, a kiddie pool and not expensive. This hotel is perfect for us since we're travelling with Louise. The food was excellent, the room may not be modern but it is still  acceptable. In general, we enjoyed our stay here.
